Job summary

Cliftons in Sydney is seeking an Assistant Venue Manager to support two busy Sydney venues and work closely with the Venue Manager to deliver meetings, conferences, training programs, exams and events that clients remember for the right reasons.

You’ll coordinate front-of-house and catering, help rostering and budgets, and lead with calm, client-focused problem solving while spotting opportunities to improve operations and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, events, conferencing, hotels or another customer-focused operational environment.
• Strong relationship-building, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate venue, front-of-house and catering operations across two Sydney venues.
• Support and guide team members throughout event delivery.
• Keep venue presentation, facilities, maintenance and workplace safety standards on track.
• Assist with rostering, resources and operational budgets.
• Build strong client relationships and calmly solve event-day challenges.
