Club Hotel & Commercial Hotel in Chinchilla is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead day-to-day operations across bar, restaurant, and accommodation, working with the Venue Manager to develop skills for future Venue Manager roles. This hands-on role focuses on guest experiences and smooth operations in a growing hospitality group.

You'll mentor a close-knit team, manage stock and scheduling, uphold budget targets, and ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in hospitality management.
• Current QLD RSA, RSG, RMLV, Approved Managers License & CLO.
• Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Solid understanding of hospitality regulations and financial management.

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll take charge of the day-to-day operations of our bustling venue, overseeing bar, restaurant, accommodation and entertainment offerings. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll work closely with the Venue Manager, gaining the skills and experience to one day step into a Venue Manager position within our growing hospitality group. What You’ll Do

• Support the Venue Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of service in our bar, restaurant, and accommodation.
• Inspire and mentor your team, driving a positive and productive culture focused on excellence, customer service, and continuous improvement.
• Be the point of contact for guest inquiries, ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience, from check-in to checkout.
• Assist in managing stock, scheduling, and staff performance while maintaining efficient operations and adhering to budget targets.
• Assist in ensuring the venue adheres to health and safety guidelines, licensing laws, and all regulatory requirements.
