Job summary

Bailey Nelson Australia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Pacific Fair store to lead day-to-day operations and support the eye-test-to-dispense journey. You will partner with the Store Manager and Optometrist to ensure a seamless customer experience and own store leadership two days per week.

You will coach a growing team, manage appointments, and drive performance while enjoying hands-on training in optical dispensing.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or optics at a supervisor or management level.
• Strong leadership and ability to develop others.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Able to manage a full-time Sunday to Thursday roster.
• Comfortable coaching a team to achieve targets.

What you’ll be doing

As an ASM, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day success of the store:

• Support the Store Manager and Optometrist to deliver a seamless customer journey from eye test to frame selection and dispense
• Take ownership of the store 2 days a week, leading the team and driving performance
• Keep the appointment book running smoothly and ensure every customer interaction feels easy and enjoyable
• Coach and support your team to deliver great service, every time
