Job summary

Beacon Lighting Launceston is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in driving sales, delivering outstanding customer experiences and leading a dedicated team at our Launceston store in TAS. This full-time role includes the added benefit of every second weekend off, with opportunities to grow through our Bright Start program and Accredited Lighting Consultant pathway.

You will support coaching, merchandising, and store operations while focusing on safety, teamwork

Qualifications

Experience thriving in a retail, sales or customer-focused environment.
Hold a current drivers licence and be hands-on when needed.

Responsibilities

Inspire and develop your team through coaching, mentoring and hands-on leadership.
Drive commercial success by growing sales across retail, trade and design.
Deliver service that stands out, creating memorable experiences for every customer.
Build strong trade relationships and engage with our Retail & Trade Loyalty Program.
Share expertise to help customers make confident lighting and design decisions.
Maintain exceptional visual merchandising and presentation standards.
Lead a culture of safety and wellbeing for customers and team members.
Partner with the Store Manager to achieve operational excellence and store goals.
