Job summary

Universal Store on the Gold Coast is seeking a driven full-time Assistant Store Manager to work Sunday–Thursday and collaborate closely with the Store Manager. The role mirrors many Store Manager responsibilities and offers a clear path to progression.

Responsibilities include leading store operations, delivering exceptional customer experiences, coaching the team to hit sales targets, executing VM directives, and managing inventory with attention to stock insights.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in retail (Shift Supervisor / Assistant Store Manager).
• Strong sales focus with ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Warm, confident communicator with excellent customer service.
• Strong operational understanding — VM, stock, store standards.
• Flexible, hands-on, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to brand presentation.

This position works closely with the Store Manager and mirrors many Store Manager responsibilities, making it the perfect step ifyou’relooking to grow your retail leadership career.
