Job summary

Petstock Smithfield is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (2IC) to support the Store Manager in leading a passionate team and delivering world-class customer service. You will help manage stock, VM of displays, and safety practices while driving store performance.

Join a team inspired by pets and a culture of growth, inclusivity, and community impact. This full-time role runs Tuesday to Saturday (40 hours) with opportunities for development within the Petstock Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar store leadership role.
• Proven ability to drive sales targets and team performance.
• Strong leadership with a positive culture and staff development.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to mentor and inspire the team daily.
• Support the Store Manager in coaching and upskilling staff.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and uphold service standards.
• Oversee stock, safety, and visual merchandising across the store.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and productive in-store culture.
