Job summary

Bunnings is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to oversee daily operations, sales and stock management across a large Newcastle/Hunter Valley warehouse. You will lead 50+ direct reports, report to the Site Manager and coordinate with Departments, Stores, and Distribution Centres to drive performance.

You will develop strategies, monitor customer service levels, manage weekend rosters and ensure Safety and Wellbeing compliance while delivering a best-in-class shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a large team and ensuring safety and wellbeing.
• Strong understanding of KPI’s, sales targets and cost controls.
• Proven ability to coach and develop Department Managers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 50+ direct reports and duty manager responsibilities.
• Conduct safety walks, risk coaching and safety audits.
• Monitor sales, margin and wages; implement improvement plans.
• Drive stock accuracy, investigations and stocktake activities.
• Collaborate with Commercial Sales, Distribution Centres and stores to support growth.
