Job summary

Amida Recruit AU is seeking an Assistant Site Manager / Leading Hand to deliver high-end fit-out and refurbishment projects across Sydney's commercial sector. You will support the Site Manager to ensure quality, safety and on-time delivery from drawings and specifications.

The role suits a trade-qualified supervisor with 2–5+ years of site experience. Applicants should have a White Card and First Aid, with Procore or Buildpass experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Trade or building related qualification.
• 2 to 5+ years’ experience in site supervision of construction projects including planning, programming and management of onsite staff / subcontractors.
• Construction Safety Induction (White) card
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• Desirable – Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety
• Sound knowledge of legislation, regulations and standards relating to building sites
• Proven ability to lead and motivate subcontractors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
• Experience with Procore or Buildpass would be ideal
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

• Produce and manage defect lists for subcontractors prior to finishing works

A market leader with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, they are now seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager, Assistant Site Supervisor or Leading Hand to join their professional team.

Offering a range of services to their high-end clients, the company specialises in fit-out and refurb of Corporate Office, Health, Education, Government, Hotels, Hospitality and Leisure sector projects.

Projects are usually from smaller up to $15m+

You will be responsible for the daily delivery of high quality and on-time construction projects, ensuring that the projects are completed to documented drawings, specifications and nominated timeframes.

You will be supporting the Site Manager in the safe and efficient day-to-day delivery of fitout and construction works ideally from a trade / carpentry background. Any experience in Procore and Buildpass would be a benefit.
