Crown Melbourne, Nobu Sydney, is seeking an inspiring Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead from the floor, elevate the Nobu guest experience and drive service excellence. You will mentor a high-performing team and partner with the Restaurant Manager to deliver exceptional dining in a premium environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a premium, luxury or high-volume dining team.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities to develop engaged teams.
• Experience managing guest relations, service recovery and VIP experiences.
• Commercial awareness across labour management, productivity and venue performance.
• Solid knowledge of food, wine, sake and beverages.
• Experience with Japanese or Asian cuisine is highly regarded.
• Hands-on leadership style, capable of leading from the floor during peak service.
• Current NSW RSA competency card is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service.
• Drive luxury service standards and create memorable dining experiences.
• Support roster management, labour optimisation and operational planning.
• Manage guest feedback and resolve service issues professionally.
• Assist with financial performance, stock control and cost management.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, service standards and food safety.
• Lead from the floor and support service delivery during peak periods.
• Act as venue leader in the Restaurant Manager's absence.
