Job summary

Nobu Sydney, part of Crown Resorts, is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead from the floor and uphold Nobu's renowned service standards.

You will collaborate with the Restaurant Manager, mentor front-of-house teams and drive service excellence across peak periods, ensuring VIP experiences and exceptional guest satisfaction in a luxury dining environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within a premium, luxury or high-volume dining environment
• A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities, with a focus on developing engaged, high-performing teams
• Experience managing guest relations, service recovery and VIP experiences with professionalism and confidence
• Commercial acumen across labour management, productivity and venue performance
• Strong food, wine, sake and beverage knowledge
• Experience with Japanese or Asian cuisine highly regarded
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead from the floor during peak service periods
• Current NSW RSA Competency Card

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and developing front-of-house team members to deliver exceptional service
• Driving luxury service standards and creating memorable dining experiences
• Supporting roster management, labour optimisation and operational planning
• Managing guest feedback and resolving service issues professionally
• Assisting with financial performance, stock control and cost management
• Ensuring compliance with operational procedures, service standards and food safety requirements
• Leading from the floor and supporting service delivery during peak trading periods
• Acting as the venue leader in the Restaurant Manager's absence
