La Piazza, the flagship restaurant of Bankstown Sports, seeks an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead day-to-day operations and a large front-of-house team. This fast-paced venue requires hands-on leadership and a focus on guest experiences.

You will report to the Restaurant Manager, coaching staff, driving service standards and collaborating with kitchen and bar teams to deliver seamless functions and dining. RSA/RCG certified candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or similar leadership role.
• Experience in high-volume restaurant, hospitality or premium casual dining environment.
• Strong floor presence and leading by example.
• Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop teams.
• Strong food and beverage knowledge.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and peak trading periods.
• Current RSA & RCG qualifications (or willingness to obtain).

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach and develop front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service.
• Drive service excellence across restaurant and function operations.
• Oversee daily venue operations, maintaining presentation, service and compliance standards.
• Support rostering, labour management and operational efficiency.
• Deliver outstanding guest experiences and resolve issues professionally.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor venue performance and contribute to achieving operational targets.
• Maintain RSA, RCG, WHS, and venue policies compliance.
• Foster a positive, engaged and high-performing team culture.
