Job summary

Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead the dinner service across the Restaurant, Club Lounge, In-Room Dining and Events. You will develop the team, drive exceptional guest experiences, and partner with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless dining and service.

You will manage rostering, day-to-day planning, and foster a positive work culture focused on guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Great communication skills.
• Desire to create the best working environment for their team.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively resolve issues and manage conflict.
• Ability to work efficiently and remain composed under pressure.
• Well-presented and organised with a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and empower the team, creating a positive culture that supports growth and success.
• Run and manage dinner service from Tuesday to Saturday.
• Support rostering and day-to-day operational planning to ensure smooth service.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure synergy between food, dining and service.
• Maintain a service-focused attitude and commitment to delivering a great guest experience.
• Maintain a customer-focused approach to service.
