St John Vianney Catholic Primary School – Greenacre NSW is seeking an Assistant Principal to lead teaching excellence, foster staff development, and build a strong school community grounded in Gospel values. You will collaborate with families and parish partners to deliver personalised learning that supports academic, personal and spiritual growth.

The role requires postgraduate qualifications in leadership or education, a proven ability to drive high-performance culture, and experience in staff

Qualifications

• Postgraduate or Master’s in Leadership, Religion, Theology, or Education.
• Ability to drive a high-performance, improvement-focused school culture.
• Lead with Gospel values and contribute to the Church’s mission.
• Experience overseeing staff induction, development, and performance.
• Promotes religious leadership and parish partnerships.
• Exemplary classroom practitioner with the ability to model and lead effective teaching and learning strategies.
• Skilled at strengthening school and system-wide networks.
• Meets Category E Accreditation requirements or willing to meet during first term.
• Experience leading school-wide Positive Behaviours for Learning.
• Experience or qualifications in gifted education and EALD (desirable).
• Developing and implementing effective and evidence-based professional learning for teachers as leaders of learning.
• Analysing school and network data to establish priorities, targets and teaching programs.
