Job summary

Holy Family Primary School, part of Catholic Education, seeks an Assistant Principal in Canberra’s South Tuggeranong area. The role supports the Principal in strategic and operational leadership, guiding teaching, learning, staff development, wellbeing, and school improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching required.
• Postgraduate qualification in Religious Education or Theological Studies preferred.
• Academic qualifications additional to Initial Teacher Education (Master’s Degree or five-year equivalent).
• Practicing Catholic connected to a parish or other worshipping community required.

Qualifications and Essential Criteria

• Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching
• ACT Working with Vulnerable People clearance (WWVP)
• ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
• Postgraduate qualification in Religious Education or Theological Studies
• Academic qualifications additional to Initial Teacher Education (Master’s Degree or five-year equivalent)
• Practicing Catholic connected to a parish or other worshipping community
• Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest
