Job summary

YMCA Woodcrest Outside School Hours Care in Victoria is seeking an Assistant Coordinator to support the daily running of the service, lead programming and guide a passionate team to deliver safe, fun and enriching care for children. Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or studying towards in ECEC/Teaching.
• Experience in children’s programming and administration.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Blue Card and First Aid/CPR compliance (or willingness to obtain).
• Commitment to inclusive and safe environment.
• Familiarity with the National Quality Framework.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily running of the service.
• Assist with child-led, play-based programming.
• Provide guidance to educators and support staffing needs.
• Maintain compliance and support administration processes.
• Engage positively with children, families, schools and the local community.
