Job summary

The Langham, Sydney is seeking a Night Audit professional to oversee overnight operations, security and revenue capture. You will report to the Front Office Manager and ensure accurate reporting and guest satisfaction during the night shift.

Ideal candidates have experience in a similar role, outstanding customer service, and a current RSA & First Aid certificate. Availability on weekends and public holidays with Australian working rights is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar night-audit role is highly regarded.
• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent grooming and personal presentation.
• RSA & First Aid Certificate is required.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays with Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management, security and operational efficiency of the hotel during the night.
• Ensure Night Audit duties, revenue capture and reporting are completed per SOPs.
• Maintain safety and security of guests, associates and assets.

• Maintain Duty Manager's logbook and conduct shift briefings.

Reporting to Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for:

• The management, security and operational efficiency of the hotel ensuring optimum guest and associate satisfaction during the night.
• Ensure the Night Audit function is performed with relation to roll of day, revenue capture and reporting, in line with relevant SOPs.
• Oversee the safety and security of all guests, associates and assets.
• Anticipate and resolve problems which impact on guest service.
• Facilitate and monitor the implementation of The Langham Sydney WHS Management System and associated policies, procedures, guidelines and programs.
• Create a positive hotel image. Ensure general grooming and hotel presentation standards are impeccable and in accordance with organisational policy and guidelines.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all room types, hotel matrix and facilities.
• Ensure accurate revenue capture, and relevant reports are distributed.
• Address and resolve major complaints. Communicate problems to management and advise steps taken to resolve.
• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge in order to explain and sell services and facilities to guests. Keep up to date current on guest, restaurant and functions activities.
• Conduct shift briefings and ensure effective shift handovers. Maintain Duty Manager's logbook.

Skill and Experiences

• Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
• Ability to demonstrate a commitment to outstanding customer service.
• Possess a high standard of grooming and personal presentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• RSA & First Aid Certificate.
• Attention to detail, flexible and reliable.
• Hold a current open manual drivers licence is preferrable.
• Relevant qualifications in Hospitality Management.
• Embrace and demonstrate Langham Hospitality Group values.
• Available to work weekends and public holidays with valid working rights in Australia.
