Job summary

Beefy's is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager at our Ningi store, part of 16 Boutique Pie Bakery Stores across South East Queensland and Northern NSW. The role is based at Ningi, less than 15 minutes from Caboolture and Morayfield, on the way to Bribie Island.

The successful candidate will have food service/retail experience, a warm, can-do attitude, and be capable of leading and mentoring a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring excellence in customer service as the #1 priority
• Ensuring the highest standards of food safety and store cleanliness
• Opening and closing the store
• Training, supervising, mentoring and coaching team members
• Coffee making
• Management of stock including rotation, quality assurance and minimising wastage
• Implementing operational policies and back office administration
• Maintaining knowledge of Workplace Health & Food Safety
• Promoting a positive work environment that encourages team members to grow and have fun
• Available to work weekends and during school hours
• Preferably a minimum of 2 years previous food service experience
• Customer service focused with the ability to engage new customers and foster returning customer relationships
• Highly organised with great time management and communication skills
• Self-motivated, flexible, reliable and honest
• Ability to build strong relationships within the store team & greater network as well as with customers, suppliers and contractors
• Ability to inspire and motivate a team and lead by example

With 16 Boutique Pie Bakery Stores across South East Queensland and Northern NSW, we are known for our excellence in customer service and high-quality product offerings.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager with high energy and a demonstrated focus on customer satisfaction, to assist the Store Manager at our Ningi store. We are located less than 15 minutes from Caboolture and Morayfield, on the way to Bribie Island.

The successful candidate will:

• Already have experience within the food service/retail industry.

This position is based on a rotating roster working a range of shifts between the hours of 4am and 8.00pm over seven days (working every second weekend). Due to the early morning start times your own transport is essential.

Duties will include:
