Job summary

Endeavour Group Careers is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Finsbury Hotel in Adelaide, SA. This hands-on role will help run a buzzing venue with a lively sports bar and on-site accommodation, delivering great service to locals and travelers.

You’ll support the Publican, lead a team, and ensure safety and a great vibe across shifts. RSA, RSG/RCG and RP Badge are required to meet state requirements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hospitality leadership with team supervision experience.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift as part of duties.
• Strong service focus and local knowledge of the venue.

Base Salary $80,000 + Super + Bonus Scheme + Group Wide Discounts

We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Finsbury Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals.

Located on Hanson Road in Woodville North, The Finsbury Hotel is a long-standing local favourite north of Adelaide. Our vibrant venue features a lively Sports Bar with live sports on big screens and a great range of beverages, alongside modern, affordable accommodation via our on-site Nightcap Hotel. We pride ourselves on our welcoming atmosphere and delivering great service to both locals and travelers.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA, RSG/RCG and RP Badge as per state requirements
