Job summary

The Willaston Hotel, part of ALH Hotels, is seeking an energetic Assistant Manager to lead a high-traffic venue north of Adelaide. Base salary is $80,000 plus super, with a bonus scheme and group-wide discounts on offer.

Located on Main North Road, theWillaston Hotel offers a family Bistro, sports bar and outdoor beer garden. You’ll drive service standards, manage a team, and ensure the venue remains the locals’ favourite gathering spot.

Qualifications

• Hands-on role with manual handling (stock, kegs, deliveries).
• Willingness to supervise and lead a team.
• Experience in bar, bistro, or gaming room is a plus.

We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Willaston Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals.

Located on Main North Road in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, The Willaston Hotel is a bustling community favourite. The venue features a high-volume Family Bistro with an indoor playground, a relaxed Sports Bar, and a popular outdoor beer garden. It’s the go-to spot for family meals, casual drinks, and local catch‑ups.

A Day In The Life Of An Assistant Manager

Inherent Requirements

• This is a hand-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About You

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising


• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up


• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away


• You’ve got a current RSA, RSG 1 & 2 and RP Badge as per state requirements
