Job summary

Park Hyatt Sydney is recruiting for an energetic and passionate Assistant Manager, Event Services to join our Event Services team. The candidate will manage the Event Services department and ensure maximum guest and colleague satisfaction.

Responsibilities include planning and overseeing all Event Service operations, coordinating with Outlet teams, and handling guest inquiries with courteous professionalism to support the hotel’s overall success.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience as a Team leader or an Assistant Manager in a five star hotel or large catering complex with good standards; preferably with experience in luxury international brands
• Comprehensive knowledge of business needs and productivity requirements
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Effective trainer, experienced in the delivery of core skills and group training
• A passion for service and ability to connect with and care for others

Responsibilities

• Manage the Event Services department and ensure maximum guest and colleague satisfaction
• Plan, implement and oversee all Event Service operational and administrative matters
• Ensure the Event Services team is prepared to deliver client requirements as provided by the Event Sales team
• Collaborate with all Outlet teams to support the hotel’s success and guest satisfaction
• Handle guest enquiries courteously and maintain strong inter-team relationships
