Job summary

Andaz Gold Coast is part of Hyatt Hotels and is seeking an Assistant Manager - Engineering to lead the day-to-day operation, maintenance and presentation of the hotel. You’ll guide the engineering team with calm confidence and help create a guest-ready environment across shifts.

You’ll monitor building services, schedule preventive maintenance, and coordinate repairs while maintaining clear records and promoting safety. You must have Australian working rights to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel engineering, facilities or building services.
• Experience leading or supervising a team.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and building operations.
• Practical, solutions-focused approach.
• Clear communication and excellent organisation.
• Ability to stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant technical qualifications or trade background.
• Genuine interest in hospitality and guest experience.
• Must already have ongoing and current working rights for Australia.
