Job summary

SummitCare in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager Care Services to lead and coach a dedicated care team, delivering high-quality care to residents. You will ensure clinical governance and compliance while mentoring staff and supporting wellbeing.

Reporting to the Care Manager and General Manager, you will apply your clinical skills, manage crises and promote best practices, with mentoring and system proficiency in electronic care management tools.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (essential).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN within the aged care sector.
• Proven management or leadership experience within a clinical setting.
• Strong working knowledge of clinical governance.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think on your feet.
• Proficiency in using electronic care management systems and standard computer applications.

About the Role

As the Assistant Manager Care Services at our Liverpool facility, you will lead, mentor, and coach a dedicated care team to deliver exceptional, high-quality care to our residents.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced clinician with a solid background in management looking to advance their career in the Aged Care sector. You will be fully supported and mentored by an experienced Care Manager and General Manager, utilising your diverse clinical skills to foster best clinical practices and ensure strict compliance across all areas.
