Job summary

Burson Labrador is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (2IC) to support the Store Manager, drive sales, and lead a high‑performing team in a busy automotive parts branch on the Gold Coast. You’ll coach staff, ensure excellent customer service, and uphold safety and presentation standards.

You’ll be part of the Burson network under Bapcor, with opportunities for growth while building strong customer relationships and delivering branch targets in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a driven and diverse team environment.
• Experience in automotive parts sector (preferred).
• Ability to engage with and motivate team members.
• Customer focused with strong time management and attention to detail.
• OH&S experience with sound administrative and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to trade, workshop, and retail customers on automotive parts.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and build long-term relationships.
• Support sales growth and branch performance outcomes.
• Assist with inventory management and stock control processes.
• Maintain high store standards and compliance with policies and safety requirements.
• Support the Store Manager in daily branch operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing expert advice and assistance to trade, workshop, and retail customers on automotive parts and products

• Assisting with inventory management and stock control processes
• Maintaining high store presentation standards and ensuring compliance with company policies and workplace health and safety requirements
• Supporting the Store Manager in the daily operation of the branch
• Leading, coaching, and motivating team members to achieve their best

Qualifications

• An ability to work in a driven and diverse team environment
• Ideally experience in the automotive parts sector (or related sectors)
• The ability to engage with, and motivate team members
• Customer focused with strong time management abilities & attention to detail
• OH & S experience, with sound administrative skills and solid computer literacy
