Job summary

Burson Labrador is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (2IC) to support the Store Manager in daily operations at the Labrador branch. You will drive sales performance, champion exceptional customer service, and help foster a positive, high‑performing team culture.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team focused on growth, development, and providing expert automotive parts knowledge to trade, workshop, and retail customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a driven and diverse team environment.
• Experience in automotive parts sector or related sectors (preferred).
• Ability to engage with and motivate team members.
• Customer-focused with strong time management and attention to detail.
• OH&S experience with solid administrative skills and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to trade, workshop, and retail customers on automotive parts and products.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and build long-term customer relationships.
• Support sales growth and branch performance outcomes.
• Assist with inventory management and stock control processes.
• Maintain high store presentation standards and ensure safety compliance.
• Support the Store Manager in daily branch operations.
• Lead, coach and motivate team members to achieve their best.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing expert advice and assistance to trade, workshop, and retail customers on automotive parts and products

• Assisting with inventory management and stock control processes
• Maintaining high store presentation standards and ensuring compliance with company policies and workplace health and safety requirements
• Supporting the Store Manager in the daily operation of the branch
• Leading, coaching, and motivating team members to achieve their best

Qualifications

• An ability to work in a driven and diverse team environment
• Ideally experience in the automotive parts sector (or related sectors)
• The ability to engage with, and motivate team members
• Customer focused with strong time management abilities & attention to detail
• OH & S experience, with sound administrative skills and solid computer literacy
