Job summary

Burson, part of the Bapcor Group, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (2IC) for the Kilkenny branch in Adelaide. You will support the Store Manager, lead the frontline team, drive sales, and ensure outstanding customer service.

This role suits a customer-focused leader with experience in automotive parts or related sectors. You’ll coach staff, manage stock and safety, and help maintain high store standards while delivering results for a busy trade and retail environment.

Qualifications

• An ability to work in a driven and diverse team environment.
• Ideally experience in the automotive parts sector (or related sectors)
• The ability to engage with, and motivate team members
• Customer focused with strong time management abilities & attention to detail
• OH & S experience, with sound administrative skills and solid computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Providing expert advice and assistance to trade, workshop, and retail customers on automotive parts and products
• Delivering outstanding customer service while building strong, long-term customer relationships
• Supporting sales growth and branch performance outcomes
• Assisting with inventory management and stock control processes
• Maintaining high store presentation standards and ensuring compliance with company policies and workplace health and safety requirements
• Supporting the Store Manager in the daily operation of the branch
• Leading, coaching, and motivating team members to achieve their best
