Job summary

Burson Moorabbin is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales and motivate a busy team. You will support the Store Manager and help deliver exceptional customer service for trade and retail customers in a fast-paced automotive parts environment.

This role requires strong leadership, time management and OH&S compliance, with the ability to engage staff and uphold store standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive parts sector preferable.
• Able to engage and motivate team members.
• Strong customer service and retention focus.
• OH&S experience with administrative skills.

We’re on the lookout for a motivated Assistant Store Manager (2IC) to support our Moorabbin branch. At Burson, you’re never just a number—you’ll be part of a supportive, close‑knit team working together to connect our people, our customers, and our business every single day.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling automotive parts queries from trade and retail/DIY customers
• Provide a high level of customer service with an emphasis on customer retention & development
• Assisting with inventory control
• Maintaining store standards and adhere to company policies, procedures and OH & S compliance
• Supporting the Store Manager
• Leading and supporting your team

Key Requirements

• An ability to work in a driven and diverse team environment
• Ideally experience in the automotive parts sector (or related sectors)
• The ability to engage with, and motivate team members
• Customer focused with strong time management abilities & attention to detail
• OH & S experience, with sound administrative skills and solid computer literacy
• Current full drivers license
