Job summary

Burson is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to lead the Abbotsford branch, drive daily operations, elevate sales, and motivate the team to perform at their best.

This hands-on leadership role requires excellent customer service, strong time management, and OH&S compliance. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure high standards and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Current full driver’s license.
• OH&S experience or knowledge.
• Customer-focused with strong time management and attention to detail.
• Experience in the automotive parts sector preferred but not required.
• Ability to engage and motivate a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Handle automotive parts queries from trade and retail/DIY customers.
• Provide high level customer service with emphasis on retention and development.
• Assist with inventory control.
• Maintain store standards and adhere to company policies and OH&S requirements.
• Support the Store Manager and lead the team to perform at their best.
• Lead and support your team in a driven, diverse environment.

We're on the lookout for a motivated Assistant Store Manager (2IC) to support our Abbotsford branch. At Burson, you're never just a number-you'll be part of a supportive, close-knit team working together to connect our people, our customers, and our business every single day.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling automotive parts queries from trade and retail/DIY customers
• Provide a high level of customer service with an emphasis on customer retention & development
• Assisting with inventory control
• Maintaining store standards and adhere to company policies, procedures and OH & S compliance
• Supporting the Store Manager
• Leading and supporting your teamAn ability to work in a driven and diverse team environment
• Ideally experience in the automotive parts sector (or related sectors)
• The ability to engage with, and motivate team members
• Customer focused with strong time management abilities & attention to detail
• OH & S experience, with sound administrative skills and solid computer literacy
• Current full drivers license
