South Eastern Community Connect – Eastlakes NSW is seeking compassionate Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to provide in-home aged care services across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.

The role focuses on person-centred care to help older people remain independent and connected at home. Training, travel between clients, and flexible casual shifts are offered to fit your lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Certificate IV in Ageing, Aged Care, Home & Community Care or equivalent.
• Experience supporting older people in aged care, home care or healthcare settings.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Access to your own reliable, insured vehicle.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• A genuine passion for supporting older people.

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of in-home aged care services.
• Deliver person-centred care to help older people maintain independence.
• Assist with personal care tasks (showering, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Provide respite support and social companionship.
• Assist with transport to appointments and community activities; shopping and meals.
• Perform domestic tasks and light housekeeping.
• Support wellness and reablement activities; monitor wellbeing.

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to provide quality in-home care and support to older people living in the community.

This role is ideal for experienced AINs, Personal Care Workers and Support Workers who are passionate about delivering person-centred care and helping older people maintain their independence and quality of life.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Assistant in Nursing, you will provide a range of in-home aged care services, including:

• Personal care (showering, grooming, dressing and toileting assistance)
• Respite support
• Social support and companionship
• Transport to appointments and community activities
• Shopping and meal assistance
• Domestic assistance and light household cleaning
• Wellness and reablement support
• Monitoring client wellbeing and reporting concerns
• Supporting clients in line with individual care plans

About You

Certificate III or Certificate IV in Individual Support (Ageing), Aged Care, Home & Community Care or equivalent

Previous experience working with older people in aged care, home care, disability support or healthcare settings

Current Australian Driver's Licence

Access to your own reliable, insured vehicle

Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively

A genuine passion for supporting older people
