Job summary

Jobwire Recruitment is looking for compassionate Assistants in Nursing to support aged care residents across Penrith, The Hills, Richmond, North Sydney and Northern Beaches on casual shifts.

You'll provide hands-on personal care, assist with mobility and meals, and maintain accurate care notes as part of a dedicated team in aged care facilities. Flexibility to cover weekdays and weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have recent AIN experience in aged care.
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent).
• Strong communication and compassionate approach.
• Availability across weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, dressing, mobility, and meals.
• Monitor wellbeing and report changes to nursing team.
• Maintain accurate care notes and documentation.
• Create a safe, respectful environment for residents.

About the role

• Support residents with personal care, dressing, mobility, meals, and everyday living activities
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and promptly communicate any changes or concerns to the nursing team
• Maintain accurate, timely care notes and documentation
• Create a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment where residents feel valued every shift
• Deliver care in line with aged care standards, policies, and best practice requirements

What we're looking for

• Recent AIN experience in an aged care setting
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent)
• Strong communication skills and a genuine, compassionate approach
• A real commitment to quality, resident-centred care
• Availability across a range of shifts including weekdays and weekends
