Job summary

Jobwire Recruitment is seeking compassionate Assistants in Nursing to support aged care residents in Byron Bay, Ballina and Northern Rivers area. This casual role offers flexible shifts across weekdays and weekends, working within aged care facilities as part of a dedicated care team.

You will assist residents with personal care, monitor wellbeing, and maintain accurate notes, contributing to a resident-centered, quality-focused care environment.

Qualifications

• Recent AIN experience in an aged care setting.
• Certificate III/IV in Individual Support (or equivalent).
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach.
• Availability across a range of shifts including weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, dressing, mobility, meals and daily activities.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and report changes to nursing team.
• Maintain accurate care notes and documentation.
• Create a safe, welcoming environment for residents each shift.
• Deliver care in line with aged care standards and policies.

About the role

• Maintain accurate, timely care notes and documentation
