Job summary

Connect to Nursing Agency in Toowoomba, QLD is seeking an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to join our dedicated aged care team. The role is full-time or casual and focuses on compassionate, person-centred care for residents.

You will support RNs, provide personal care, monitor health, assist with meals, and help create a safe, engaging environment while working with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
• Experience as an AIN in an aged care setting.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist registered nurses and other care staff in delivering personalised and holistic care to aged care residents.
• Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support.
• Monitor and record residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes to the nursing team.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote their physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Assist with the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring residents' dietary needs are met.

About the role

Join the dynamic team of Connect to Nursing Agency as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) based in Toowoomba, QLD. • Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centred approach to care
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
