Job summary

The Star Grand Sydney is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to lead the nightly operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will guide a professional team in a luxury property, ensuring smooth service delivery across all front desk activities.

You will participate in people planning, recruitment, rostering, and training, with opportunities for growth and development in a prestigious Sydney venue.

As an Assistant Front Office Manager at The Star Grand, reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of luxury hospitality, working alongside a dedicated team of professionals in one of the most iconic and prestigious properties in Sydney. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the nightly operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and an unparalleled guest experience.

We currently have a few opportunities available, including both full-time and maternity leave contract positions, providing the chance to join our leadership team in a capacity that aligns with your career goals and experience.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the highest standards of guest service are achieved and maintained upon check-in and during our guests stay
  • Ensure all guest comment cards are distributed to relevant departments and respond to guests when required
  • Assist with the people planning requirements including recruitment, rostering, training and development of the team
