Job summary

The Star Grand Hotel Sydney is seeking an experienced hospitality leader to join our luxury team. In this full-time role, you will lead a diverse guest services team, drive service standards and mentor staff to deliver world-class experiences.

You will collaborate across departments, manage shifts, and respond to guest needs with a proactive, guest-centric approach. Opera PMS knowledge is preferred, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in luxury hospitality.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Opera property management system.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a guest-centric mindset.

• Maintain the highest standards of guest service at check-in and during the stay.

A few of your responsibilities:

• Ensure that the highest standards of guest service are achieved and maintained upon check-in and during our guests stay
• Ensure all guest comment cards are distributed to relevant departments and respond to guests when required
• Assist with the people planning requirements including recruitment, rostering, training and development of the team

• Proven leadership experience in a similar role within the luxury hospitality industry
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding service

• Knowledge of Opera property management system
• Flexibility availability including evenings and weekends
