EVT Limited – Sydney International Airport NSW is seeking an Assistant Finance and Business Support Manager to partner with General Managers and owners, delivering sound financial advice and commercial support across the Rydges Sydney Airport business.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting and reporting, maintain the general ledger, implement controls, and coach a small finance team to drive performance and cost efficiency across hotel operations.

Qualificações

• Strong operational finance and commercial focus with ability to provide practical business advice.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and break-even analysis.
• Solid knowledge of general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end reporting.
• Understanding of internal controls, credit policy and purchasing and accounts payable procedures.
• Awareness of payroll controls, award provisions, visa restrictions and tax legislation.
• Ability to coach and develop a team and build strong working relationships across the hotel.

• Prepare and drive budgets, forecasts and variance analysis, and create action plans to deliver improvements.
• Oversee daily, weekly and monthly reporting, including revenue and F&B trackers, revenue forecasts, payroll reporting and food and beverage cost of sales analysis.
• Maintain the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations, and submit monthly, half-yearly and yearly reporting on time.
• Implement and maintain internal controls across cash, debtors, stock, purchasing and accounts payable, with a disciplined focus on cost control.
• Coach and develop the finance and business support team, and champion dashboard use across all department heads.
