Job summary

Join Miele’s Experience Centre in Melbourne for a 12-month fixed term contract as Assistant Experience Centre Manager. You will partner with the Experience Centre Manager to lead a passionate retail team, drive commercial performance and ensure every customer enjoys a seamless and memorable journey.

This hands-on leadership role requires coaching, day-to-day operations leadership, and delivering premium in-store experiences alongside the Culinary Team and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the Experience Centre Manager in leading, coaching and developing a high-performing retail team.
• Drive sales performance by motivating the team to achieve financial, service and customer experience targets.
• Deliver an exceptional customer journey by leading consultative sales conversations and resolving customer enquiries with professionalism.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Experience Centre, ensuring the highest standards of presentation, merchandising and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with the Culinary Team to deliver engaging demonstrations, customer events and premium in-store experiences.
• Build strong relationships with local business partners, Miele Chartered Agents (MCAs) and internal stakeholders to drive customer referrals and business growth.
• Take ownership of centre operations, including rostering, stock management, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

Must-have

Demonstrated retail leadership experience in a customer-focused environment

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-have

Experience in premium retail, luxury goods, appliances, interiors or home furnishings

Experience leading consultative sales teams

Relevant business or retail qualification

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail systems
