Parliamentary Services in Mackay is seeking an Assistant Electorate Officer to support the MP with administration, constituent enquiries, and community engagement. You will help deliver high-quality services to constituents and assist with daily operations of the electorate office.

You will manage diaries, coordinate appointments and events, handle correspondence and data entry, and build strong relationships with local organisations and stakeholders to support the Member for Mackay.

  • Provide general office support including filing, supplies management, and documentation.
  • Support the Electorate Officer where required.

Parliamentary Services is seeking a professional, organised, and community-minded Assistant Electorate Officer to join Nigel Dalton MP, Member for Mackay.

This position supports the Member and Electorate Officer in delivering high-quality services to constituents, engaging with local organisations, and assisting with the daily operations of a busy electorate office.

Key Objectives
  • Provide high-quality administrative and support services to the Electorate Office.
  • Assist constituents and community groups by responding to enquiries and helping resolve concerns.
  • Support the smooth day-to-day operations of the Member's office.
Your Role
