Goodstart Early Learning is seeking an Assistant Director - Educational Leader at Goodstart Kallangur - Duffield Road West. This full-time, permanent role involves leading the team, mentoring staff, and stepping in for the Centre Director when needed, with a rotating roster from 6:30am to 6:00pm.

The role requires strong leadership, collaboration with families and the community, and a commitment to delivering high-quality early learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Assistant Director or centre leadership roles preferred.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills with a collaborative approach.
• Ability to balance hands-on teaching with operational and people leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director in leading the team to provide high-quality early learning and care.
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team.
• Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence.

Centre: Goodstart Kallangur - Duffield Road West

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $44.39 - $45.67 p/h (depending on experience) + $2.81 Educational Leader Allowance + Super

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Kallangur - Duffield Road West, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.

In this role, you will:

• Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
• Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
• Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

About Goodstart Kallangur - Duffield Road West

As Assistant Director, you'll work alongside the Centre Director in a full-time position working across a rotating roster between 6:30am and 6:00pm, supporting the operational needs of the centre.
