Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning is seeking an Assistant Director to support the Centre Director, lead a warm, inclusive culture, and mentor staff to deliver high-quality programs that nurture children’s growth.

You will use strong leadership, time management and communication skills to uphold our commitments to wellbeing, inclusion and safety, while collaborating with Pedagogy partners and upholding ACECQA standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor qualification approved by ACECQA.
• Current Working with Children Check (state-relevant).
• Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012).
• National Police Clearance within the last 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director in day-to-day operations.
• Guide the team in delivering high-quality programs.
• Mentor and develop staff in line with best practice.
• Lead with initiative, motivation and flexibility.

About You:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Director (preferred, not essential)
• Knowledge and experience with QikKids and StoryPark (or similar equivalent platforms)
• A current ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification
• Current and State-relevant Working with Children's Check
• Current Child Protection and National Child Safety Training Certificates
• Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012)
• National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months
• Proda ID and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Must be available to work rotating shifts that may start as early as 6:30 am and finish as late as 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday
