Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning Centres are seeking an Assistant Director to support the Centre Director, lead a passionate team, and drive high-quality programs for young learners.

You will model the Green Leaves Commitments, build strong relationships with families, and lead initiatives in inclusion, wellbeing and sustainability across the centre.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in early learning.
• Experience with child safety obligations and regulations.
• Excellent communication and team mentoring skills.

As the Assistant Director, your role is key to building a positive, warm, fun, and welcoming culture where our Green Leaves Commitments are embedded across everything we do! You will use your masterful leadership skills to support the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations and successful running of the Centre, guide the team in the development and delivery of high-quality programs that inspire and nurture young minds, and actively mentor and develop the team in line with best practice.

About You:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Director
• Knowledge and experience with QikKids and StoryPark (or similar equivalent platforms)
• A current ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification
• Current and State-relevant Working with Children's Check
• Current Child Protection and National Child Safety Training Certificates
• Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012)
• National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months
• Proda ID and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Must be available to work rotating shifts that may start as early as 6:30 am and finish as late as 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday
