Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning is seeking an Assistant Director to support the Centre Director in day-to-day operations and drive high-quality programs.

You will mentor a team of educators, foster a warm, inclusive culture, and collaborate with partners on pedagogy, wellbeing and safety. The role offers growth within a supportive leadership team, with shifts starting early and finishing late.

Qualifications

  • Experience as an Assistant Director or Centre Leader.
  • Knowledge of early childhood frameworks and licensing.
  • Ability to coach and develop staff in a supportive manner.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Centre Director in daily operations.
  • Lead learning programs and staff development.

You will use your masterful leadership skills to support the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations and successful running of the Centre, guide the team in the development and delivery of high-quality programs that inspire and nurture young minds, and actively mentor and develop the team in line with best practice.

About You:
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Director
  • Knowledge and experience with QikKids and StoryPark (or similar equivalent platforms)
  • A current ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification
  • Current and State-relevant Working with Children's Check
  • Current Child Protection and National Child Safety Training Certificates
  • Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012)
  • National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months
  • Proda ID and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Must be available to work rotating shifts that may start as early as 6:30 am and finish as late as 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday
