Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning Centres Pty in Western Australia seeks an Assistant Director to lead a warm, welcoming culture and support the Centre Director in daily operations. You will guide high-quality programs that inspire and nurture young minds while embedding the Green Leaves Commitments.

You will collaborate with the National Learning Partners on pedagogy, inclusion, wellbeing and sustainability, mentor the team, and ensure strong family connections through proactive leadership and

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Assistant Director or similar leadership role.
• ACE CQA approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification.
• Working with Children Check and relevant safety certificates.

Responsibilities

• Support Centre Director in day-to-day operations and Centre leadership.
• Mentor and develop staff to deliver high-quality programs for children.
• Model and embed Green Leaves Commitments across practices.
• Collaborate with families and the team to foster wellbeing and inclusion.

You will use your masterful leadership skills to support the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations and successful running of the Centre, guide the team in the development and delivery of high-quality programs that inspire and nurture young minds, and actively mentor and develop the team in line with best practice.

About You:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Director of at least 12months or similar leadership role
• Knowledge and experience with QikKids and StoryPark (or similar equivalent platforms)
• A current ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification
• Current and State-relevant Working with Children's Check
• Current Child Protection and National Child Safety Training Certificates
• Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012)
• National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months
• Proda ID and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Must be available to work rotating shifts that may start as early as 6:30 am and finish as late as 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday
