Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning is seeking an Assistant Director to support the Centre Director in daily operations, lead a dedicated team, and ensure high-quality learning programs.

You will mentor staff, nurture a warm and welcoming culture, and actively collaborate across teams to uphold our Commitments and achieve ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• NSW Working with Children's Check current.
• NSW Child Protection and National Child Safety Training certificates current.
• First Aid & CPR certified (HLTAID012).
• National Police Clearance within the last 6 months.
• Proda ID and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• Availability for rotating shifts from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, Mon-Fri.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director in day-to-day operations and running of the centre.
• Lead and mentor the team to deliver high-quality programs for children.
• Foster a warm, positive culture aligned with Green Leaves Commitments.
• Collaborate with the team to translate feedback into action and improvements.
• Drive quality and continuous improvement across pedagogy and practice.

About You:

• A current ACECQA-approved Diploma ofEarly Childhood Education and Care, or above
• Current NSW Working with Children's Check
• Current NSW Child Protection and National Child Safety Training Certificates
