Job summary

The Y Australia is seeking a motivated Assistant Coordinator for the YMCA Grovely Outside School Hours Care on a permanent part-time basis. You will support day-to-day operations and help lead a passionate team to deliver safe and enriching care for children.

Working up to 34.5 hours during school terms, you’ll enjoy a role that emphasizes support, guidance, and community engagement while being part of a not-for-profit organization committed to training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in children’s programming and administration.
• Valid Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily running of the service.
• Assist with child-led, play-based programming.
• Provide guidance to educators and support staffing needs.
• Maintain compliance and support administration processes.
• Engage positively with children, families, schools and the local community.
