Job summary

Busy Bees invites an experienced Assistant Centre Director to join the Cameron Park Preston team on a full-time basis. You will work with the Centre Director to lead educators, strengthen family partnerships and create meaningful learning experiences where every child can thrive.

You will support day-to-day operations, mentor staff, and help ensure safety, quality and compliance with EYLF, NQS and NSW regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher).
• Current NSW Working with Children check.
• Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and NSW Child Protection legislation.
• Leadership experience or a strong desire to grow into a leadership role within the ECEC industry.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director in the day-to-day leadership and operations of the service.
• Lead, mentor and inspire educators to deliver high-quality education and care.
• Help create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• Build strong, trusted partnerships with families and the local community.
• Support compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and NSW National Regulations.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, reflective practice and continuous improvement.
• Support educators to understand and respond to each child's interests, personality and individual abilities.
• Encourage a positive team culture built on collaboration, communication and professional growth.
• Step into the Centre Director role when required.
