Job summary

Busy Bees Cameron Park is seeking an experienced Assistant Centre Director to support the Centre Director in leadership and daily operations. You will mentor educators, foster strong family partnerships, and ensure high-quality learning experiences in a safe, inclusive environment.

You will lead continuous improvement, support curriculum planning, and help adhere to NQF and NSW regulations while growing into a leadership role within the team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher) is required.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) required.
• Knowledge of EYLF, NQS and NSW Child Protection legislation.
• Leadership experience or strong potential to grow into a leadership role.

Responsibilities

We’re seeking an experienced and supportive Assistant Centre Director to join Busy Bees at Cameron Park Preston, on a full-time basis.

Our team is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported and valued. As Assistant Centre Director, you’ll work alongside the Centre Director to lead educators, build strong family partnerships and help create meaningful learning experiences where every child can thrive.

What you’ll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values.
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher).
• Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and NSW Child Protection legislation.
• Leadership experience or a strong desire to grow into a leadership role within the ECEC industry.
• A collaborative, positive and supportive leadership style.
• A genuine passion for building relationships with children, families and educators.
• The confidence to lead, support and make decisions while working closely with the Centre Director.
