Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking an experienced Assistant Centre Director for our Cameron Park, NSW site. This full-time role supports the Centre Director, leads educators, builds strong family partnerships, and helps deliver high-quality early learning in a warm, safe environment.

You will contribute to curriculum planning, reflect on practice, and foster a collaborative culture, with opportunities to step into Centre Director duties when needed. NSW WWCC and EYLF/NQS knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS and NSW Child Protection legislation.
• Leadership experience or strong desire to grow into leadership in ECEC.

Responsibilities

• Encourage a positive team culture built on collaboration, communication and professional growth.

• Step into the Centre Director role when required.

What you’ll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values.

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher).

• Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).

• Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and NSW Child Protection legislation.

• Leadership experience or a strong desire to grow into a leadership role within the ECEC industry.

• A collaborative, positive and supportive leadership style.

• A genuine passion for building relationships with children, families and educators.

• The confidence to lead, support and make decisions while working closely with the Centre Director.
