Job summary

MECCA Brands is seeking an Assistant Brand Manager on a fixed-term contract until March 2027. You will support brand plans, launches, ranging and campaigns while collaborating with Brand Managers and cross-functional teams across Planning, Marketing, Education, and Distribution.

You will help manage item setup, product maintenance and store assortment development, contributing to strong brand partnerships in ANZ markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in brand/category or commercial support is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Job description

Join MECCA’s Makeup Category as an Assistant Brand Manager on a fixed-term contract until March 2027, supporting some of the brands and products our customers know and love. Working closely with our Brand Managers and cross-functional teams, you’ll help bring brand plans to life through seamless product launches, ranging and campaign activity, while building strong relationships with our brand partners.

The Role You Could Play: As Assistant Brand Manager, you’ll provide hands‑on support across brand and product management, acting as a MECCA brand ambassador and partnering with teams including Planning, Range & Space, Marketing, Education, Freight and our Distribution Centre.

You will:

• Partner with Brand Managers to support commercial targets, create strategic brand plans, deliver brand moments and monthly campaign and VM activity Support in the relationship management of our brands both through regular communication, formal business reviews and hosting while brands are in the ANZ market.
• Manage item setup and product maintenance, partnering with brands to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.
• Support the development of store assortments with Brand Managers and Range & Space, considering best sellers, performance and space requirements.
• Coordinate product, campaign, education and supporting collateral across the category.
• Manage monthly brand claims and support international brand visits, including coordinating itineraries for founders, trainers and account managers.

What You Will Bring:

You are proactive, highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to confidently manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous experience in a similar brand, category or commercial support role is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
• The ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively across teams and continually look for ways to improve.
