Job summary

Foundry Talent Partners is assisting a Sydney-based funds management firm in recruiting an Assistant Accountant for a longer-term contract. The role supports day-to-day accounting and reporting, working closely with the finance and asset management teams.

Responsibilities include processing invoices in the general ledger, month-end deadlines, and assisting with bank reconciliations and cash flow reporting.

Qualifications

• Exposure to general ledger systems (SAP experience highly regarded) and AP/AR processes.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence across the Microsoft Office suite
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage competing priorities
• A team player mentality
• Familiarity with AI tools in a workplace setting is a plus
