Tallentire O'Flynn Movsowitz is seeking a driven Assistant Accountant to join a collaborative finance team in Sydney. The role offers broad exposure across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and month-end processes in a professional corporate environment.

This full-time, office-based position requires attendance five days per week with opportunities to develop technical accounting skills and progress your accounting career within a stable, well-established organisation.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years' experience in Accounts Payable, Assistant Accountant or similar finance roles.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Manage corporate credit card expense claims and compliance with internal policies.
• Monitor and track key supplier expenditure and upcoming contract renewals.
• Assist with month end accounting activities.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders across the business.
• Assist with ad hoc finance projects and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations

About You
