Job summary

NSW Department of Education is seeking an Asset Services Officer for temporary full-time work in the Macquarie Park area. The role focuses on delivering asset services across a group of schools within the Asset Management region, coordinating with consultants and contractors to support design, development and construction phases.

You will be responsible for delivery of capital works projects, facilities management, scope writing and accurate cost estimation to ensure timely project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Facilities Management or Property Management.
• Construction Project Management or Trade experience.
• Excellent customer service in dealing with key stakeholders.
• Knowledge in scope writing and ability to estimate project costs and manage budgets.
• Knowledge of Aboriginal Education Policy and the NSW AECG partnership.

Responsibilities

• Provide asset services to a group of schools within the Asset Management region.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and other asset management staff to support design, development and construction phases.
• Delivery of capital works projects and all aspects of facilities management.
• Support timely and effective project delivery.
• Scope writing, estimation of project costs and manage budgets.
